- In Search Of Sound is a collaborative documentary film series that features an eclectic cast of over fifty music artists and record labels from around the world. Involving literally hundreds of people worldwide, each doing their own part and working together to bring the project to fruition, ISOS is a grassroots effort. From high end professional filmmakers using the highest resolution cameras to subterranean guerrilla filmmakers using whatever they had access to. From a cheap low end Fuji Pix disposable video camera to record, illegally, on the Moscow subway to high resolution digital video and film formats and everything in between. ISOS is the first truly resolution independent, globally created music documentary art film. From the super famous to the relatively obscure of the global music underground, ISOS shows no prejudice. No matter where it is or who’s making it, if it’s innovative, weird, cutting edge, unusual, or just really good, that’s all that matters. Everything other than what’s force fed to the masses via the mainstream media. The underground.
